Torpidity-depletion: 1.04 / s, Time until all torpidity is depleted: 00:04:48 A Zomdodo has no inventory, nor can they lose hunger, be fed, or lay eggs. However, once the DodoRex is killed, surviving Zomdodos become passive, and a player can tame one simply by walking up and pressing the use key (E by default) to claim it. While the DodoRex is active, they will be hostile. Zomdodos cannot be tamed under normal circumstances. Groups of Zomdodos spawn clustered around the DodoRex, which itself spawns in a random location on The Island during ARK: Fear Evolved events. It is more resilient, hits harder and moves faster than a regular Dodo. Zomdodo is the zombified (with missing pieces of flesh) Halloween variant of the original species found during the ARK: Fear Evolved events. It is identical to the normal one except for its colorful robe and the Party Hat worn on its head. Party Dodo is the Anniversary variant of the original species found during the ARK: 5th Anniversary event. It lays Bunny Eggs (around 1-3 per 5 minutes). It is identical to the normal one except for the Bunny Ears on its head. It is tameable and is not Radiation immune.īunny Dodo is the Easter variant of the original species found during the ARK: Eggcellent Adventure events. It is identical to the normal one except for its glowing robe. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 0 6 would color the Dodo's "body" magenta.Īberrant Dodo is the Aberrant variant of the original species found in Aberration. This information can be used to alter the Dodo's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor in the cheat console. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Dodo will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Dodo. This section displays the Dodo's natural colors and regions. Dodos vary in many colors, including purple, brown, red, and black. In the early release of Ark, Dodos would attack the attacking player in retaliation.Ī flightless species of pigeon, the dodo is easily identifiable by its large beak and stout, round body. Dodos will also occasionally get stuck on driftwood on beaches. Even if the player takes an egg from a wild Dodo, it will not attack. Anything from a cluster of Compies to a single Spino will attack it and win unanimously. Instead, it and any nearby Dodos will attempt to flee, although their slow movement speed usually makes them easy prey. When a Dodo is attacked, it will not fight back. ĭodos aimlessly waddle about the beaches, hills and forests of the island, moving with little speed. It could work as a last-ditch food source, though, so I suppose keeping some around for "lean times" has a certain logic. It cannot carry enough to be a beast of burden, it does not provide much food, and it's too stupid to show companionship. While it can be done, there is almost no reason to domesticate a Raphus replicare. This is the only trait keeping them populous on the island.
#ARK DODO TAME FULL#
I'm fairly convinced that they reach full maturity within a week of being born. This subspecies of the Dodo has developed an unbelievably clever way to sustain itself: they mate constantly. Without the Dodo, the whole Island's food chain would disintegrate. It wanders around the beaches of the Island, pecking berries off bushes, and being eaten by all manner of carnivore. Raphus replicare (more commonly known as the Dodo Bird) is quite possibly the dumbest creature I've ever seen in my life.
